Just wanted to share a quick story from tonight. As I left work today, Crissy handed me some money that we received unexpectedly. Basically, I helped a friend sell his car a few weeks ago and he saw Crissy today at the bank. After they exchanged pleasantries, Crissy said she wasn’t going to take the gift and he responded, “well, I’ll just put it in your account.” LOL. And he actually good of since he works where we bank. So, anyways, she took the money and picked me up. He gave us $200.00, which was amazing and completely unexpected. Here is what is more amazing. I have been thinking about being a financial blessing on someone that has been on my heart lately and didn’t know what to do. As I was climbing out of the car at Weigels to get some milk and “diet” chocolate chip cookies, I asked Crissy what are we going to do with this money? Then I told her, “I want to give it away.” Being OCD about our bills and budget, I knew everything was covered for the holidays and I had some people on my heart to bless. Well, she asked how much? I responded all of it. She is pretty much use to me making quick irrational decisions by now so she said whatever I think. Here is where God showed out! I went in and bought what we where there to get but also added some $2 scratch off tickets because my wife absolutely loves them. When we arrived home, she began to scratch them off. One of them was a winner! A big winner! She scratched one off worth $500.00!!! How awesome is that? Sometimes you hear those stories and think that never happens but this is another story in my life that I wanted to share where God just showed up and showed off. I love it!
